After shutting out the Blues 2-0 on Sunday, the Blackhawks return home tonight to take on the Dallas Stars. Catch all the action on Comcast SportsNet, beginning with Blackhawks Pregame live at 6:30.

Like Friday's matchup against Detroit, the Blackhawks will once again face another team desperate to clinch a playoff spot.

The Blackhawks, in the meantime, have not only landed a playoff spot but have clinched the Central Division. They could cruise into the playoffs having already earned home-ice advantage, but as we saw this weekend Chicago isn't letting up.

Winning the division doesn't mean a whole lot in the long run. Since the start of the year, the Blackhawks' sole focus has been to bring the Stanley Cup back to the Windy City. And the way they see it, every game weighs equally as they prepare for the postseason.

Tonight's matchup against Dallas will give them an opportunity to work on their preparation as they face off again the Western Conference's ninth place team.

Since trading veteran Jaromir Jagr, the Stars have racked up five consecutive wins. They currently rank two points behind the Red Wings, who are still hanging on as the conference's No. 8 seed.

The Blackhawks are 2-0-0 against the Stars this season, and tonight the hosts aim for their sixth consecutive win.
