ST. LOUIS -- Patrick Sharp is out, Dave Bolland is back in and Corey Crawford will start when the Chicago Blackhawks face the St. Louis Blues at Scottrade Center today.
Coach Joel Quenneville said Sharp, who did not make the trip, is out with an upper-body injury. Sharp had played the last two games after missing a month with a left-shoulder injury. Asked if it was the same injury, Quenneville did not get specific, repeating that it was an upper-body injury. Sharp is also probably out tomorrow when the Blackhawks host the Dallas Stars.
Bolland returns after missing the last four games with a lower-leg injury. Bolland blocked a Shea Weber shot a few weeks ago, came back the next game, then was sidelined again.
Crawford is getting his second consecutive start. He stopped 27 of 29 in regulation and overtime, and four more in the shootout in the Blackhawks 3-2 decision over Detroit on Friday night.
