Any hit in confidence that Derrick Rose may have taken this previous year appears to have mended after a season in which he never saw the court.
Rose recently sat down with CNN's Pedro Pinto to do a 90-second rapid-fire interview.
While a majority of the interview seemed rather bland, one question and answer making headlines sparked when Pinto asked Rose who is the best player in the league right now.
"Derrick Rose," responded the former league MVP, without the slightest bit of hesitation.
Even after missing the previous 82 regular-season games, it appears Rose is ready to return to prominence and regain his MVP form from a couple years ago.
That's good news for the Bulls, who remain confident that the Rose's return signifies another deep playoff run for a team with championship aspirations.
Upon being asked how he wanted to be remembered when he retired, Rose simply stated, "as a winner."
Now that Rose claims that he is 100 percent healthy, let's hope he can build onto the reputation that he hopes to be remembered by.
