NBA debuts new tournament-style schedule for summer league

The 2013 NBA summer league schedule is out. The 61-game schedule features 22 NBA franchises.

This year the games will be played from July 12-22 and will debut the new tournament style schedule. The first-ever summer league championship game will be played on July 22.

Teams will compete in three preliminary round games from July 12-16 before being seeded in the tournament. Each team will be guaranteed at least five games.

The Bulls will have their first game on Saturday, July 13th at the Cox Pavilion against Memphis at 5 p.m.

Chicago's other preliminary games will be played at the Thomas & Mack Center against Denver on July 15th at 5 p.m. and Portland on July 16th at 7:30 p.m.
