While the Bulls might have reportedly done a little flirting with Chicago native Dwyane Wade at the start of free agency, it seemed like a foregone conclusion that the veteran guard wouldn't leave Miami.

On Tuesday, the Heat and Wade announced that the two sides have agreed to a two-year deal. While the second year of the contract is reportedly a player option, the financial terms of the deal have not been officially announced.

Wade, who played at Marquette during his collegiate career, was drafted fifth overall by the Heat in the 2003 NBA Draft. The 32-year old is a three-time NBA champion who has averaged 24.3 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds per game over his 11-year career.
