SEC vs. B1G: Bulls' Joakim Noah calls out Buckeyes' Cardale Jones

We all know Joakim Noah has a dislike for the city of Cleveland. His anti-Ohio feelings, however, seem to stretch to the rest of the Big Ten, despite the fact that he calls Chicago home.

The Bulls All Star and Florida alum apparently had some words for Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones, who along with his Buckeyes teammates were honored for winning the national championship before the Bulls battled the Cavs in Game 2 of their playoff series Wednesday night in Cleveland.

Who knows what the intent of that message was, be it light-hearted or otherwise, but Noah surely was displaying his SEC pride, pride rightfully earned after Urban Meyer led the Florida Gators to two BCS championships (2006 and 2008) during the SEC's period of dominance. Noah, too, won a pair of national titles while at Florida, leading the Gators to NCAA tournament wins in 2006 and 2007.

But Meyer is running things in Columbus these days and has another national title to his name, this one of the scarlet-and-gray variety and fueled by the terrific postseason play of Jones this past January.

Well, of course Jones had a response to Noah's remarks. He is an avid tweeter, after all.

Jones surely didn't seem to take Noah's words light-heartedly.

Just more fuel to the fire for Noah-hating Clevelanders. And just more offseason antics from Jones.
