When Derrick Rose went down with another season-ending knee injury and Luol Deng was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers, somebody on the Bulls needed to step up.
Enter Joakim Noah.
The 29-year-old Noah is playing arguably the best basketball of his career. In the month of February he's averaging 13.5 points, 12.1 rebounds and six assists in 12 games. His leadership has helped Chicago to eight victories in their last 10 games, and the team currently sits a game behind the Toronto Raptors for the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference.
Has Noah's recent play vaulted him past Rose? At least one writer thinks so.
On Thursday's episode of SportsTalk Live on CSN, Chicago Sun-Times' Dan Cahill made a bold statement by saying, "Noah will go down as a better all-time Bull than Rose."
