The day after Chicagoans helped vote Chris Sale and Anthony Rizzo to the All-Star Game, Comcast SportsNet is airing a Chicago baseball doubleheader.
First up is the Cubs-Braves series opener from Wrigley at 3 p.m.. Cubs Pregame Live starts at 2:30 with hosts Todd Hollandsworth and David Kaplan. Immediately following the Cubs game will be an abbreviated version of Cubs Postgame Live.
Assuming the Cubs-Braves game is over on time, the White Sox will start at 6 p.m. on CSN as they kick off their series against the Indians in Cleveland. If the Cubs game runs long, the Sox game will start on CSN+ (which you can find your local listing here).
Each series represents the final set of games before the start of the All-Star break Monday.
Sale joins teammates Alexei Ramirez and Jose Abreu at the Midsummer Classic, while Rizzo joins Starlin Castro and former Cubs ace Jeff Samardzija, who will be ineligible to pitch in the game.
