The Philadelphia Phillies hope Hall-of-Famer Ryne Sandberg, who was named the club's interim manager on Friday, will one day lead the team back to the World Series.

If he does, perhaps the celebration will look a little bit like it did in 2009 when Sandberg led the Tennessee Smokies to a division title.

In the video (fast-forward to the 1:13 mark) Sandberg is in the middle of an interview with Mick Gillispie, Sandberg's team runs over and douses with him with a pair of water coolers while the rest of the team cheered on their coach.

The next season Sandberg was bumped out to lead Triple-A Iowa, where the Cubs went 82-62 and was named the Pacific Coast League's Manager of the Year.

After three seasons in Philadelphia's farm system from 2011 to 2013 -- Sandberg left Chicago after he was passed up for the Cubs manager position -- Sandberg will now look to turn around the fortunes of the Phillies.
