The Cubs bashed a major league record six home runs on Monday night at Wrigley Field to take Game 3, 8-6, and take a commanding 2-1 lead on the Cardinals in the National League Division Series.
Jake Arrieta had an off night, giving up four runs on five hits and two walks plus nine strikeouts, but he still got the win as the Cubs beat the Cardinals, 8-6, to take a 2-1 lead in the NLDS.
Joe Maddon talked playoffs and the World Series during his first media session as Cubs manager last November. Now with the postseason back at Wrigley, Maddon's vision has come to life.
