Chandler Harnish, former Northern Illinois quarterback and final pick in the 2012 NFL draft by the Indianapolis Colts, is making headlines after a blunder during his warm-ups before Sunday night's pre-season game against the New York Giants.

Unfortunately for Harnish, it's not the kind of headlines he was making during his time at NIU.

The No. 2 backup QB for the Colts accidentally nailed FOX sideline reporter Pam Oliver on the side of the face while trying to complete a pass to a receiver.

Harnish, known for his 61.9 career completion percentage at NIU, may have earned the infamous title of "Mr. Irrelevant" for being the last pick in the draft but maybe his new title should be "Mr. Inaccurate".

Oliver, a bit shocked after the hit, was a good sport about the mishap by putting on a smile and laughing it off.

Harnish took to twitter after the game to publicly apologize to the veteran reporter.
