Notre Dame has recently implemented a recruiting tactic that includes sending out packages filled with 477 letters, titled “Pots of Gold,” to recruits and commits across the country.
This idea has similarly been utilized by several major schools in the past, including Tennessee and Kentucky, to help bring recruits to their universities.
The recruiting approach has created a competition among schools to show which schools offer more letters to their recruits and who can bring more attention to their program.
Prized linebacker recruit Nyles Morgan of Crete-Monee High School tweeted out a picture of the “Pots of Gold” package he received from the Irish on Tuesday.
