CSN Chicago will have cameras covering the biggest high school basketball games across Chicagoland for another basketball edition of High School Lites. Catch the show live at 11 p.m. Friday on CSN and streaming at CSNChicago.com

This week's show has some quality rivalry games as we get to see some great highlights.

We'll have highlights from the Mid-Suburban East, Upstate Eight River, West Suburban Gold, Northern Lake County, Central Suburban South and a special stop in the Northern Illinois Big 12.

This week's Viewers' Choice Game of the Week goes back to girls basketball game for the second consecutive week as Metea Valley battles Wheaton-Warrenville South.

And this week's Wintrust Athlete of the Week is Evanston senior Nojel Eastern as the guard is having a great season before heading to Purdue.

THURSDAY

Viewers' Choice Game of the Week

GIRLS: Metea Valley at Wheaton-Warrenville South, 7:15 p.m. -- We head to the DuPage Valley Conference in this one for a rematch. The Tigers (16-6) won the first time, 59-22, on Jan. 3 as they've won four straight games. The Mustangs (10-13) are coming off a win over Waubonsie Valley.

FRIDAY

No. 16 Prospect at Wheeling, 6:00 p.m. -- Prospect enters this one red hot as the Knights (17-4, 6-1) have picked up seven straight wins. Frankie Mack continues a strong season as he just went over 1,000 career points. Wheeling (9-11, 4-3) lost 50-26 the last time these two teams played on Jan. 6 but the Wildcats have earned three straight wins of their own.

No. 11 Geneva at Batavia, 7:00 p.m. -- One of the area's best rivalries gets the enhanced excitement of having No. 11 Geneva come in unbeaten. The Vikings (24-0, 8-0) needed to pull away in the fourth quarter the last time these two teams played on Dec. 16 as a couple of key dunks ignited a late run. Batavia (14-12, 4-5) comes into this one after a disappointing loss to Elgin earlier this week.

North Chicago at Grant, 7:00 p.m. -- The two leaders in the Northern Lake County meet here. The last time these two played, North Chicago (13-6, 10-0) used a fourth-quarter comeback for a six-point win on Jan. 11 as Grant (13-8, 8-1) will try to stay in the conference race here.

Hinsdale South at No. 17 Willowbrook, 7:30 p.m. -- Another interesting conference matchup takes us to the West Suburban Gold as No. 17 Willowbrook faces the team that handed them their only loss this season. The Warriors (21-1, 7-1) have won 14 straight games since falling at Hinsdale South on Dec. 16. Hinsdale South (12-9, 5-2) has won some tough games this season as junior Zion Griffin has been fun to watch. The Hornets are coming off of a tight loss to Morton.

New Trier at No. 6 Evanston, 7:30 p.m. -- Our Wintrust Athlete of the Week and the Wildkits are also in action here as Evanston (18-3, 7-0) hosts rival New Trier (10-9, 3-3). Senior Nojel Eastern has plenty of weapons around him and senior Elyjah Williams has been a nice player for Evanston in a number of ways. New Trier will try to come away with a better result after losing the first matchup at home by double-figures on Dec. 13.

LaSalle-Peru at Ottawa, 7:30 p.m. -- We head to the Northern Illinois Big 12 West for this one as Ottawa hosts the conference clash. The Pirates (12-6, 3-3) are trying to stay in the race while LaSalle-Peru (12-8, 5-3) is also in the mix. These two teams are also scheduled to play again at LaSalle-Peru on Feb. 24.
