Dashaun Mallory (DT), Bolingbrook

Bolingbrook junior defensive tackle Dashaun Mallory (6-foot-3, 275 pounds) has seen his recruiting stock rise so far this season.

'I've been hearing from Arkansas, Kansas State, Western Michigan, Florida State and Iowa State," Mallory said. "I was invited to come out to games this season at Central Michigan, Arkansas, Iowa State and Purdue."

Mallory also made a recent visit to Purdue.

"The visit to Purdue was decent," Mallory said. "They lost the game but but the place was nice and I enjoyed myself. The Purdue coaches knew who I was before I introduced myself so that was pretty cool. The Purdue coaches said that they like what they see from me and that they will keep an eye out for me the rest of the season."

Noah Shannon (DT), Oswego

Oswego junior defensive tackle Noah Shannon (6-foot-1, 285 pounds) is also drawing more and more recruiting looks this fall.

"I've heard recently from both Wisconsin and Iowa," Shannon said. "They both reached out to me a few weeks ago and we've stayed in touch ever since."

Shannon, who has also been in steady contact with NIU, Central Michigan, Western Michigan, Minnesota and Illinois, is also planning to visit both Wisconsin and Iowa soon.

"I'm going to Wisconsin for the Nebraska game (Oct. 29) and I'm also going to Iowa for the game against Michigan (Nov. 12)," Shannon said.

Trevor Keegan (OT), Crystal Lake South

Crystal Lake South sophomore offensive tackle Trevor Keegan (6-foot-6, 290 pounds) made a gameday visit to Illinois when the Fighting Illinois hosted Purdue last weekend.

“It was really nice,” Keegan told Orange and Blue News publisher Doug Bucshon. “I love the atmosphere and it’s a nice campus. I saw the stadium upgrades. It’s going to look really nice.”

Keegan already holds a Northwestern offer and is drawing strong interest from Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan and Purdue.

Will Putnam (OL), Glenwood

Glenwood sophomore offensive linemen Will Putnam (6-foot-4, 250 pounds), who already has offers from Illinois and Pitt, is planning to get out to visit more schools soon.

"I'm planning to get out to visit Georgia, Illinois and Notre Dame," Putnam said. "I'm looking at going to visit Illinois on November 5th when they play Michigan State. I'm also going to Georgia on November 12th when they play Auburn. I'm not sure on a date yet for Notre Dame."
