Morgan, who is also ranked as the #83 best player in the country according to the Rivals.com Top 100 Class of 2014 recruit rankings has remained open and is planning to announce a Top 5 schools list on September 1st. Morgan visited both Florida and Tennessee this summer and has mentioned a handful of schools has he would like to see out West as well. Morgan has also mentioned Notre Dame, Vanderbilt and Ole Miss as potential schools that could make his eventual Top 5 list.
DE Dewayne Hendrix, O'Fallon (6-foot-4, 264 pounds): Hendrix, ranked as the #103 recruit in the nation has scholarship offers from several major BCS schools from across the country and his interest seems to reflect his national recruiting stature as well. Hendrix made unofficial visits this summer to Tennessee, Florida and this past week to USC and has set an official visit to Florida for October 5th. Hendrix is also giving more attention this summer to Kansas State and Ohio State.
DB Parrker Westphal, Bolingbrook (6-foot-1, 186 pounds): Westphal has taken a slow approach to his recruiting this summer. Westphal, who has 20 scholarship offers so far this summer earlier named Northwestern, Vanderbilt, Arizona State, Michigan State, Illinois, Nebraska, Florida and Michigan and Ohio State as schools that caught his interest. Yet Westphal also recently said he was in no hurry to make a decision and hadn't set up any official visits just yet.
