No. 19 Oswego

2014 Record: 9-2 (7-0) won the Southwest Prairie conference in 2014. Beat Joliet West then lost to Bolingbrook in the 8A second round of the IHSA state playoffs.

Why did the Panthers make the @CSNPreps Power Rankings?
Oswego features one of the state's top quarterbacks in Steven Frank along with plenty of talent on both sides of the football.

Areas of concern heading into the 2015 season? Oswego will be a bit green in the wide receivers group this fall.

It will be a good season if:
Oswego is able to play ball control with its play action passing attack while the defense continues to progress from week to week.

Headliners?
Senior quarterback Steven Frank has multiple scholarship offers. Senior OL/DL Austin Wagner is verbally committed to NIU.

Biggest Game of 2015?
September 4th hosting Providence Catholic. The Panthers just might have the hardest first two weeks of anyone this season. Oswego will host rival Batavia in Week 1 and then Providence Catholic in Week 2.

Did You Know?
Hall of Fame head coach Karl Hoinkes (Yorkville) is back at Oswego this fall as an assistant for head coach Brian Cooney. Hoinkes coached the Panthers from 1981-2006 posted a 190-87 record and won state titles at Oswego in 1992 and 2003.
