CSNChicago.com is your top destination on the road to the 2015 high school football season. CSN preps contributor “Edgy” Tim O’Halloran will take a look at 100 teams in 100 days, counting down to the opening night kickoff on Aug. 28.

2014 Record: 10-2 (4-1), placed second in the Mid-Suburban West conference. Lost to Glenbard West in the quarterfinal round of the 8A state playoffs.

Why did the Broncos make the @CSNPreps Power Rankings?
The Broncos made a nice run in 2014 and still have the pieces in place to make another run this season.

Areas of concern heading into the 2015 season? The defense will need to find some play makers this fall after suffering a few key graduation losses including standouts LB Jake Coon and DE Jason Harris.

It will be a good season if:
The Broncos offense can play well especially early this fall and allows the defense time to gain experience and confidence.

Headliners?
Senior QB Johnny Davidson is a key along with senior OL Alex Serrano.

Biggest Game of 2015?
October 9th at Palatine. Barrington lost to the Pirates 24-14 last season and missed out on a conference crown. Expect this game to matter once again in the Mid-Suburban West race.

Did You Know? Barrington head coach Joe Sanchez is just six more wins away from reaching 100 at Barrington. Sanchez has posted a 94-46 overall record in 13 seasons as the Broncos head football coach.
