Michael Jordan, LeBron James. Kevin Durant. Jahlil Okafor?
There's no telling what the future will bring for the nation's No. 1 recruit, but the Whitney Young product has something in common with those three NBA superstars. He's heading to the McDonald's All-American Game, and he couldn't be happier.
Okafor was honored for his selection Tuesday, and the senior commented on what playing in the game will mean to him.
"Just being a nominee was a big deal, but to be selected to the All-American Game, it's just kind of surreal," the future Duke Blue Devil said. "And it's just really humbling to be in the same limelight as some of those guys like Kevin Durant, LeBron James, Michael Jordan, all these amazing players that were once in my same shoes. I'll be ready to go out in front of all the fans in Chicago and try to represent Chicago in a positive way."
