Northwestern will be without starting wide receiver Cameron Dickerson for Saturday's season-opening game against Stanford.
Dickerson was listed as one of the Wildcats' three starting wideouts, alongside Miles Shuler and Christian Jones, on the team's Week 1 depth chart earlier this week. Sophomore Macan Wilson was listed beneath Dickerson and could get the start in Dickerson's place.
Dickerson is expected to be a big factor for the Cats this season as they break in a new starting quarterback in Clayton Thorson and top wideout Jones continues to recover from the injury that knocked him out for the entirety of last season. As a junior in 2014, Dickerson caught 24 passes for 318 yards.

Northwestern's Thursday-evening injury report also listed defensive lineman Greg Kuhar and offensive lineman Matt Frazier as out. Those two absences were previously expected, as Kuhar was not listed on the Week 1 depth chart and Frazier has been deemed out as he recovers from a staph infection.
Northwestern opens the season against Stanford at 11 a.m. Saturday in Evanston.
