Greg Bryant starts JuCo career, will open his recruitment

Judging by Greg Bryant's latest social media posts, it looks like all signs continue to point toward the former five-star running back not returning to Notre Dame.

Bryant, who was set to be suspended for the first four games of the 2015 season before being ruled ineligible in early August, is enrolled in ASA Miami, a south Florida junior college with a football team coached by former Notre Dame staffer Ernest Jones. The Delray Beach, Fla. native posted a photo of his ASA Miami jersey to Instagram on Thursday with a caption that would seem to indicate his days in South Bend are over:

"Had my first practice with my new team ASA Miami today and it went great! They gave me a opportunity to wear #1 this season! I'll be keeping everyone updated with highlights and games. Opening up my recruitment so my next move will be my best move. Kinda feel like HIGHSCHOOL again getting offers and everything hahah. Highlights coming soon."

Bryant can transfer back to a four-year university after spending a season at the junior college level and likely will have plenty of suitors despite never really making much of an impact in his two years at Notre Dame. After redshirting his freshman year, Bryant carried 54 times for 289 yards with three touchdowns for the Irish in 2014 (which made him the team's second-leading rusher).

Rivals.com rated Bryant as the 19th-best player, the third-best running back and the fourth-best player in the state of Florida in 2013's recruiting class. He held offers from loads of powerful programs including Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Ole Miss, Ohio State, Oklahoma and USC.

On Friday, coach Brian Kelly said he hadn't spoken to Bryant since the running back left campus but had heard he was looking at other schools.
