Greg Maddux helps Red Bull pull off epic prank on Kris Bryant

Share

Last year, Kris Bryant went undercover with Red Bull to prank a bunch of college kids in spring training.

This year, it's Bryant being pranked.

Hall of Famer Greg Maddux — and fellow Las Vegas native — helped Red Bull prank Bryant.

Bryant thought he was just there to shoot a Red Bull commercial and instead, Maddux — a legendary prankster — donned a fake goatee and dressed up as a sound guy.

It's a marketing gimmick, of course, but it's still legitimately pretty funny.

Maddux asks Bryant if he needs any hand sanitizer before taking some swings and then actually gets in to throw some batting practice to the reigning National League MVP, something Bryant was not too keen on at the start.

Maddux gets out there and starts snapping off some curveballs, prompting Bryant to say, "He might actually be better than the other guy."

At the end, Maddux reveals himself by asking Bryant to sign a bat for him and make it out to "Greg Maddux."
