Aaron Carter is now 1-1 in his career against former Los Angeles Lakers.

The singer, who famously beat Shaquille O’Neal in a 2000 pop track, was knocked out by Lamar Odom in a celebrity boxing match in Atlantic City, N.J., late Friday night.

Odom pummeled Carter in the second round as guest referee Chuck Liddell called the fight. Carter had some good -- and admittedly hilarious -- runs in the short contest, though.

The two-time NBA champion had a 10-inch height advantage over the one-time Teen Choice Award winner.

Odom is just the latest former athlete to get in on the celebrity boxing trend. Floyd Mayweather had a bout with Logan Paul in Miami on Sunday, Chad Johnson got in the ring on Friday and Nate Robinson was knocked out by Jake Paul in November. Odom set his sights on Jake Paul before he even made his boxing debut against Carter, saying he hopes to avenge his fellow former basketball star someday.

“I would love to fight Jake Paul … for Nate Robinson,” he told TMZ back in May.

Elsewhere on the card, Cisco Rosado defeated Peter Gunz by majority decision, Tim Witherspoon defeated Hazel Roche by split decision and Drew Mournet defeated Charles McDowell by majority decision.
