The White Sox claimed outfielder J.B. Shuck off waivers on Monday from the Cleveland Indians.


If there’s one positive to emerge from the murky depths of the disaster that was the White Sox bullpen in 2014, it’s the development of Zach Putnam and Jacob Petricka.


Having watched too many winnable games get away in 2014, the White Sox intend to make the bullpen a priority this offseason.


Though the ground on which the White Sox stand at the conclusion of the season isn’t as firm as they’d like, it’s not the quagmire it was a year ago.


Nate Jones expects to start throwing around Thanksgiving and has his sights set at pitching again one year after reconstructive elbow surgery.
