Before last Sunday’s embarrassment against the Green Bay Packers, it had been 10 years since the Bears lost their first two home games in a season.
Left tackle Jermon Bushrod, limited in practice on Wednesday with a knee issue, was held out of practice altogether on Thursday, with Michael Ola spending some time working at left tackle.
The consensus was that the Bears would likely be 2-2 at this point of their season. How they got there, however, is perhaps cause for some concern.
It wasn't all pretty for the Bears last Monday night in their win against the New York Jets.
Brandon Marshall was damaged when he caught three touchdowns in the win at San Francisco. He was still damaged when he struggled catching one of six balls thrown to him in New York.
