For the first time in three years, Northwestern has a three-game winning streak in Big Ten play.
With the Big Ten expanding to 14 teams this past summer, that means a little year-to-year variation in the basketball schedule.
One streak is in the books. Another has just begun. And the two streaks couldn't be more different.
This season, there weren't too many highlights on Northwestern's non-conference schedule.
That's going to change next season.
The streak is over.
Northwestern won for the first time in 2015 on Sunday, overcoming an upsetting finish to regulation by taking down visiting Iowa in overtime, 66-61.
