--7:10 p.m. -- Why Tomas Satoransky is the perfect point guard for the Bulls right now

Low-usage, reliable, long defender. Tomas Satoransky is the perfect point guard for the Bulls' rebuild.

--9:24 a.m. -- Here's what the Bulls roster looks like with Young and Satoransky added

The Bulls roster now sits at 13 after the reported additions of Thaddeus Young and Tomas Satoransky. Here's what the roster and depth chart currently look like.

--7:26 a.m. -- Report: Bulls agree to sign-and-trade with Wizads for PG Tomas Satoransky

The Bulls were searching for a veteran point guard and found one in Satoransky. He's on board for $30 million over three years and should start alongside Zach LaVine from Day 1 while mentoring Coby White.

--12:20 a.m. -- Report: Clippers, Patrick Beverley agreed to three-year, $40 million deal

The Bulls would have had to beat this offer for Beverley, but all along it felt like the Chicago native was going to stay with the Clippers, where he enjoyed tremendous success and will again have the chance to compete for a title (especially if Kawhi Leonard joins the squad).

-- 10:58 p.m. -- Report: Bucks, Robin Lopez agree to two-year deal

It never felt like the Bulls were trying all that hard to re-sign Robin Lopez this summer. They're clearly moving forward with Wendell Carter Jr. and Daniel Gafford, while Lopez gets a chance to play with his brother and chase a ring. A perfect fit, and the Bulls will get to see him four times a year.

--10:51 p.m. -- Column: Why the Bulls got it right with Thaddeus Young

The Bulls needed a backup power forward and a veteran presence in the locker room. Young knows exactly what it's like to come to a young team and build a culture.

--8:04 p.m.--Report: Miami Heat finalizing sign-and-trade to acquire Jimmy Butler from Philadelphia 76ers

The Miami Heat finally land their heir apparent to recently retired franchise star Dwyane Wade in Butler. To get the deal done, Miami will reportedly agree to a sign-and-trade deal that will send Heat guard Josh Richardson to the 76ers, helping them replenish some of the shooting they lost with the departure of shooting guard J.J. Redick.

--7:54 p.m.--Report: Taj Gibson agrees to a two-year deal with the New York Knicks

Another former Bull, another reunion dream crushed for #BullsNation, as Gibson agreed to a reported two-year, $20 million deal with the Knicks. Gibson, a Brooklyn-native, will be playing close to the comfort of home at Madison Sqaure Garden.

--5:31 p.m.-- Report: Malcolm Brogdon agrees to four-year deal with the Indiana Pacers

A team that not had been linked to the efficient Brogdon publicly, the Indiana Pacers, swooped in to land the guard on a four-year deal. The Pacers agreed to a sign-and-trade with the Bucks to get the deal done. Milwaukee will be reportedly receiving a first-round pick and two future second-round picks in the deal.

--5:27 p.m.-- Report: Free agent point guard Ricky Rubio agrees to three-year deal with the Phoenix Suns

Rubio was one of the veteran point guards connected to the Bulls constantly leading up to June 30, but the Suns were ultimately the team to agree to terms with the solid playmaker. As the rumors started to churn out on Sunday night, the Pacers were heavily favored before news broke that Phoenix was indeed the team to agree with the Spanish guard.

Rubio gives Phoenix a steady hand—Rubio has averaged 7.7 assists per game for his career—to play in the backcourt next to franchise player Devin Booker.

--5:01 p.m. -- Report: Bulls agree to three-year deal with PF Thaddeus Young

There won't be a Taj Gibson reunion in Chicago but the Bulls have both a solid veteran and a backup to Lauri Markkanen in Young, who averaged 12.6 points per game for the Pacers last season.

--5:01 p.m. -- Report: Pistons agree to two-year deal with Derrick Rose

Looks like a Derrick Rose reunion won't take place in Chicago either. The Detroit Pistons reportedly agreed to a two-year deal with Rose to join their backcourt. The Rose deal would seem to signify that Detroit will be letting go of backup point guard Ish Smith, who is currently an unrestricted free agent.

-- 4:15 p.m. -- Here's who the Bulls have been linked to thus far in free agency

The Bulls have been linked to a dozen or so free agents in the days leading up to the start of the new season, the biggest names including Malcolm Brogdon, Julius Randle and Enes Kanter.
