Scott Boras

The White Sox long-term puzzle has another significant piece after first-rounder Carlos Rodon officially signed a franchise-record signing bonus on Friday.

BOSTON — The White Sox aren’t talking about it, but multiple reports suggest first-rounder Carlos Rodon has signed with the club.

While some outsiders have concerns about Carlos Rodon’s signability given he’s represented by Scott Boras, the White Sox don’t sound too worried.

They didn’t think Carlos Rodon would be there at No. 3, but when he was the White Sox didn’t hesitant to grab him.

No sellout crowds. No buzz. No superstars. The most interesting battle between the Cubs and White Sox won’t happen within the 10 miles separating Wrigley Field and U.S. Cellular Field.
