During his rookie season last year, it seemed as though every time Andrew Shaw was on camera, he was yapping at opponents.

And according to ChicagoBlackhawks.com, Shaw has spent plenty of time during his summer talking too, only this time it's to his teammates.

"I text them pretty much every week," Shaw said. "I try to talk to them whenever I can, but everyones pretty busy."

Shaw specifically referenced a text message he received from Brent Seabrook during the last game of the Stanley Cup Final between the Los Angeles Kings and New Jersey Devils.

"Seabrook texted me and Nick Leddy when the final game was on in the playoffs, and he asked me, 'How are you feeling? This should be us. This will be us. Let this motivate you into driving for the Stanley Cup.'"

And Shaw has no doubts the Blackhawks have all the pieces to make a run a the 2013 Stanley Cup championship.

"We have a great team; I think we have the best top six and defensive core in the entire league. Were strong on the back end, and going into this year, if we stay positive and stay together as a team well do just fine."
