Summer league

The Bulls will open their 2014 Summer-League slate in Las Vegas against the Clippers on Saturday, July 12 at 7:30, the NBA announced Thursday.

The Bulls will have two chances to find impact players in June's NBA Draft, meaning their Summer League team should be as intriguing as ever.

Despite going undefeated before tournament play in the Las Vegas summer league, the No. 2 seeded the Bulls couldn't solve the Miami Heat, dropping Thursday's matchup, 68-62 at Cox Pavilion.

Jimmy Butler took a huge step for the Bulls in summer league play in 2012, this season second-year guard Marquis Teague is following in his teammate's footsteps.

Andrew Goudelock is playing his way onto an NBA roster next season.
