Tim Duncan did something Saturday he hadn't done in his first 1,359 career games.
He failed to score a point.
The future Hall-of-Famer was held scoreless on 0-for-3 shooting in 13 minutes, ending the longest streak to begin a career in NBA history.
Duncan surpassed Karl Malone earlier in the month to top the list. Malone scored a point in 1,356 straight games to begin his career. He went scoreless on 0-for-7 shooting in a November 2002 game while battling a head cold. Duncan and Malone stand far above Hakeem Olajuwon, third on the list with 1,089 games and Elvin Hayes, fourth on the list at 1,084 games.

As it pertains to the Bulls, Michael Jordan is fifth on the list and the only player who went his entire career scoring a point in each game. Jordan scored a point in all 1,072 games he appeared in.
Jordan scored as many as 69 points in a single game, doing so in a 1990 overtime win against the Cavaliers, and as few as two points, which he did in each of his two seasons with the Wizards.
