DEERFIELD — Wednesday, the day the NBA’s free-agency moratorium ended, the Bulls announced the signing of swingman Mike Dunleavy Jr.
“Me saying it is something totally different,” Derrick Rose told Bulls TV last week, in his first public comments since the season ended.
The Bulls haven’t made the splashy, franchise-changing moves that many of their counterparts around the league have done or are trying to do in free agency, but that was never their intent.
Let’s not blow things out of proportion, if that hasn’t happened already.
Give credit to the Bulls’ front office for being able to work within the limitations of the league’s new Collective Bargaining Agreement.
