A day-night doubleheader is an awful lot of time spent at the ballpark for the players and team personnel.

So how do you fill the 12+ hours at the ballpark if you're a reliever who may wind up pitching just one or two innings all day?

Well, if you're in the Twins bullpen, you resort to physical violence, of course.

That's from Game 1 between the Twins and White Sox at U.S. Cellular Field Friday. That's reliever Jared Burton punching fellow bullpen mate Brian Duensing.

This is from Game 2 at night. It's a little bit tougher to see, but it's clear somebody is getting "hit."

As you've probably guessed, it wasn't real. Just a prank staged for the cameras.

Burton and Duensing had been planning the prank for a while, according to Phil Miller of the Star Tribune, in an attempt to stir up a reaction if they were caught on camera. Read Miller's story for more on the background.

The White Sox lost both games Friday, but this should at least cheer some South Side fans up.
