White Sox reassign seven to minor league camp

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- The White Sox reassigned seven players to minor league camp Wednesday morning and now have 55 players remaining in major league camp.

Pitchers Chris Bassitt, Parker Frazier, Brian Omogrosso and Mauricio Robles, along with infielder Mike McDade, outfielder Denis Phipps and catcher Kevan Smith were the seven players sent down the hall to minor league camp at Camelback Ranch.

Of the seven players, only Omogrosso has major league experience.

The White Sox now have 27 pitchers, five catchers, 14 infielders and nine outfielders in major league camp.
